Pocket switchblade

Post by arthas »

Hello!

We're thinking about a switchblade "to carry", that is very lightweight (about 7 mm, 1/4 inch, thick) with a selection of scales in various materials - at a very reasonable price. Of course, the quality will be very high.

Anyone interested? Comments? Requests?

Thanks,
M.

As a fan of smaller autos, I'd definitely buy one if they're equal to, or less than, the price of the recent forged stiletto offerings.. If there were some available w/ blades less than 5cm I'd probably pick up a couple, as the laws in my state allow for pocket carry of autos under 5cm ..

Do it!!

Very thin suggests it could be carried in a wallet, convenient, but also makes me think delicate.

Small and heavy duty is a wonderful formula imho. Think Al Mar SLB or Woodard pocketpro or Dalton Mini rungsat.

Some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a Kaiser blade.

Yes!! I'd love to carry one. My requests are a tip-up pocket clip and, most importantly, make it leaf spring fired!!

Great idea :D
A "carry knife" is often a "using knife" so the quality of the blade steel, is important
The old "Curved bolster" is very comfortable in the pocket and "slimmed down" might be even nicer.

What tyler_rabbit said. Of all my autos, I can legally carry only 2, and those are Chinese clones of something (maybe Protech but not really). 5cm, a tad less than 2", would be ideal.

My Chinese little guys are pretty good, all said and done. Your offering would have to be very attractive in design, quality and yes, price. Go for it!

It's ages since the last time I posted here.
But now I'll broke the silence and say "yes" :)

Various scale materials?
Great idea and why not.
But what about damascus as a blade material?
Just like one option among others?

Oh, and if we're talking about switchblade, please DON'T include any clips there.
Just my .05's...
