Mr. stiletto of athens, are you using some sort of translation software? Maybe a Babelfish sort of thing? It's hard to understand what you're trying to say sometimes, but we could get over that. It's just that we need to ken your lingo, before we can start slapping you silly in that whimsical way we have, as is the tradition with newcomers. If you'd refrain from calling us homies, home boys, homos, home bodys, home wreckers, and/or home improvement technicians, it might help

My opinion, teflon is OK for frying pans and lots of obscure industrial applications; on knife blades it's not so hot. Try a Protech, if you're interested in a black finish on a blade; they make a bunch of nice ones.

Still trying to figure what "I OPENET ONLY AT NIGHTS(4 THE SPRING)" is all about. Maybe if you open it in daylight, and see how dorky it looks, you'll look for something more durable and with less schlock appeal..

Tom
I think he's saying that he leaves the blade open at night for the springs benefit. Maybe he carries his......and yes, it sure is quiet now.....

Please humor me again gentleman with another noob question.

Is teflon the black stuff like on my S&W ExtremeOps? Hasn't came off yet, but I bought this one just cause I like the looks. It sees very little action.
