Super Automatics

Post by swingking »

I was at the Ohio show last weekend, And i got a Super automatic black handle OTF from a guy.

It looks like it was made the day before the show, Super mint shape,
The blade is marked(stainless,Korea), Are these being re-made??

Its not one of the NATO (stainless,German) knives, I have looked for some time now trying to find the super automatics, There my favorate clicking knife.

If anyone knows if these are still being made, and, sold, Please P.M. me
with any info you may have on sellers.

as far as I know thet aren't being made any more.
there were 2 - 3 listed this past week on sharperD's.
I bid , but lost .
thought they were decent looking knives , wish I had won the one I was bidding on , it was in nice shape.

Too many of these things turning up lately. My hunch is the same Koreans that are making the clones of the Rizzutto clones are in the Super otf business.

I'm pretty sure all of these are made in korea, I got the last ones that a collector in germany had in storage.

He told me that in 2004 the german laws changed, And, They could no longer have,Or, sell OTF type knives.

Since then i have been looking for as many as i could get for a good price.

I gave $20 for the one i got at the Ohio show (Super automatic), And, I know that Stu has the German marked NATO ones..

I have seen them around for the last few months, And, Thought maybe the super autos were being made again....
