Why?

Post by Wildpc64 »

The other day mrs Wild is looking through the bank statement and finds yet another paypal payment. " Oh no", says she, "you've ordered another knife haven't you?". So I confessed to my latest purchase to which she came up with some questions that I suppose are quite reasonable but to which I could do with some help in formulating some good replies.

Q1. "Why is it necessary to have more than one knife?"

Q2. "What do you find so interesting about switch blades?"

Q3. "And just how much have you spent on knives so far?"

Q4. "A display case huh, and just where do you suppose is the best place for that?"

Q5. "Italy for a holiday? i've never been to Maniago, is it nice?"

Q6. "You want what for christmas?!"

What would your answers be gentlemen?

Honey , for every knife I buy , you can buy 2 pairs of shoes.

Honey , they make hand made shoes in Italy ...

that should cover all the bases.

j.a.c,

Be careful with that one. I work with a woman who has MANY pairs of handmade Italian shoes. She once confided to me that every pair was over $300.

I'm with Rick on the shoes. Why do women need so many??

To give us a reason to spend money on our interests perhaps.

A.1 - For the same reason that I have more than 1 shirt - you get tired of one after a while.
A.2 - Their rich cultural history. The "gadget" factor is just a bonus.
A.3 - Not enough to lose sleep over.
A.4 - Right next to the bed.
A.5 - Maniago is beuatiful, honey.
A.6 - Forgiveness.

For the record, the only type of shoe I have more than one of is boots - I have workboots, and snow boots.
A shoe is a shoe is a shoe. If the shoe fits, wear it.
