Problem with closing auto stiletto knife

Post by benyg »

I couple of days ago I bought a Stiletto knife and I am having problems closing it. It could just be that I am doing it the wrong way.

When I push in the release button the knife itself remains locked in position, using some force to get it closed has no effect. - But I have not exerted much in fear of damaging it. I can get it opened ok, but holding down the release button does not unlock the blade too as I had thought.

I have checked that the safety was off. :)

Could you please tell me the correct way to close a Stiletto knife? I presume that I am doing it incorrectly.

Thankyou for your help,
benyg

Sorry, the one thing that is hated on boards and NGs are ppl posting asking for help when it is already on the forum. Just did a search for the keyword 'closing' and found out how to do it.

Any ideas on how to close the Stiletto keyrings from AB?

Thanks,

Hi Benyg,to release the lock on the keyring just slide your thumbnail under the tab at rear of knife that connects to the blade. That sort of switch is called a picklock, for obvious reasons.Welcome to the forum.Cheers the spotlight kid. 8)

Thank you Spotlight kid for your help - you were right!

I cannot see why there are so many different methods to open them, or why there were no instructions included from AB :(

Nevermind, everything got working in the end.

Also, thank you for your support Tessa :)
