The handles are made from "professional Micarta," not that cheap Asian amateur Micarta. That's always a good sign...

Mr. Motorhead,

The only way to be sure is to email the seller.

The Reason he doesn't say they are autos is because ebay has really tighted up its rules on switchblades. If you mention switchblade in any part of the ad, ebay will look at the item closely and make sure it meets California regulations of 2 inches or less. If you are on PayPal and mention switchblade, Balisong, Butterfly Knife, Brass Knuckles, or Nunchunks in any part of the transaction, Paypal will Void the sale. Stu told me this started recently. Why did they do this, because they are assholes who have nothing better to do than pick on knife collectors.

Switchblades, Balisongs, Butterfly Knives, Brass Knuckles, and Nunchukas are really the root of California's drug problems, gang related homicides, immigration problems, water shortages, overcrowding and pollution. Those California legislators really know how to stop a problem! Make a law banning it!

Fine work California!

Mr. BladeLover,

They are indeed the same knives.
Are you trying to make Mr. Motorhead feel bad? He plunked down many pounds for those...

Not really, but I did notice an extraodinairy price differential. Like when I paid 70.00 for an Halo OTF clone that runs regularly on BA for 11.00...man was I bumbed....but that's how we all learn. Sorry I did not see this post sooner so I could have directed Motorhead to a cheaper venue before he shot his wad.
