There is also "Antique American Swichblades", by Mark Erickson (Krause publications), and if you just want to look, "Foreign Spring Steel", by Vincent Federico- http://www.foreignspringsteel.com
Don't sweat the book prices-it's money well spent.

Switchblades of Italy is the must have on my list, beautiful pics and great background and history of the Italian sb industry. Even clears up the mystique/intrigue over the square button Latamas.
Foreign Spring Steel has great pics of a variety of different sb's and is worth the price but personally I wanted more text and descriptions of the incredible knives inside. I think a bit more history on the knives would have made it an even better book.
Antique American SB's is also very good, especially if you're into domestic springers. It finally answers the question of those new/old Aerials that keep popping up.
Those are the ones that I have experience with, hours of good reading.

There are some crude drawings on switchblade operation, But it is the only book I have seen with pictures of the Spetznatz Ballistic knife.
But then again you can usually pick up a copy for 15.00
I saw a book go thru BA with more technical stuff on operation But don't remember the name. If your looking for a specific knife Information they should be available thru the US patent office, If patented in the US
