Greyblade,

It's just a matter of time, I'm looking for the right one. Godfather ownership and selection is not something to be taken lightly, as you know.

I was serriously thinking of getting one,but if I get a duff pile of crap like Falcon there is no chance of me sending it back and forth over the pond every couple of weeks.Imagine the amount of anguish I would feel if this was a Sandshark or anything else of that price range. As far as I have been informed, by many,THIS is why American blades cost so much, because they are superior quality!I don't think so,as of yet ,I have NEVER had to send a European blade back once because of breakage.Let alone something that costs at least an arm,if not a leg aswell! Cheers the spotlight kid. 8)

Greyblade is right. The Godfather is a great knife. I think I just push the button too much, after all, I broke my Wor Tac after only one month and my BlackOut twice.
I collect springblades but I carry my "thumbers."

Mr. SLK,

You shouldn't judge the Godfather by "Mr. Destruct-o!"

FYI: I just snapped my second Wor Tac spring. It is now on the disabled list with the Godfather. I'm still working on the X-Olite and the LCC but so far they refuse to be "falconized".

Falcon, you can always send your "falconized" and "un-falconized" knives to:

Krazed Canuckian Clown aka J-man aka J-man_the_jet aka Mr. Jointman

******* Ontario, Canada

Falcon,
WHO ARE YOU???!!!
You really SHOULD be a quality controller at some kind of knife facility.

(BTW, ever thought about collecting fixed blades?)

Mr Guano,

I believe you have the solution - FIXED BLADES - no moving parts! :D
But how do you "play" with a knife that doesn't do anything?

The knives that passed him without being ruined, would however be top notch quality.
The company would never ever receive any returns because of broken springs
and jammed buttons, cause Falcon would've destroyed them before shipping out.

?? we don't know yet ?? toss it in the air?
Let me take a classic comparison, TV vs. Radio. If switchblades were TV, then fixed blades would be Radio. TV demands nothing of the "player", it provides him with all he needs. Radio demands a little imagination (and patience) from the "player", thus the radio-listener (AKA fixed blade player) must actively participate in making it fun.
However, very few hardcore radio-listeners return to radio after having experienced TV...
We're all doomed

OOps this wasn't the imitation horn warp thread, damit

Breaking a coil spring is one thing, but have you managed to break a leaf spring? If youve done THAT, then i know you do a lot of clicking.
