Brando Memorial Picklock

Post by hollowdweller »

I think it should be SKM's first contribution to the neo picklock line! Frank B and AKC have made their models previously. Black scales and a Brando with birth death dates on one side of the blade, and maybe a quote on the other side.

Of course we will have to have a contest on the quote!

Aside from some already mentioned on other threads, how about "Don't be doin' her like that"

Hi, just registered, still don't know what kind of autoknife a picklock is, but had to weigh in. I think the best quote for a memorial Brando knife would be from One-Eyed Jacks,

"Get up, you scum-sucking pig!"

Welcome to the Fun
A "Picklock" is switch that required you to manually lift the lock-bar from the lock-pin. Unlocking the blade from the open position and breaking your nails at the same time  It is especially popular with some of us that are old enough to remember them from our youth :!: which means we are also at the age where senility first begins to interfere with normal activity  I prefer the modern Bolster release. This could also indicate senilitysince the more rare button release was probably the best of all
I don't like movies much and Brando wasn't a favorite of mine but, that line makes me want to see the movie

How 'bout...'God Made Him An Offer He Couldn't Refuse'

Or, since stilettos are an assassin's weapon, his quote from Apocalypse Now..."Are you an assassin?"
Sounds nice and ominous for a switchblade dedicated to Brando 8)
