Probably lucky he's not into making weapons of mass destruction cause he's doing a bang up job on knives. Just wondering if he's making all the parts or just assembling them. Regardless he's doing a job I wouldn't tackle. Keep them coming and I'd like to see him on the forum but I'm not a social media kind of guy so I wouldn't know how to invite him. I would imagine he knows about knife forums anyway but an invite wouldn't hurt if someone knows how to contact him. Young guy has a talent for sure.

As an administrator of one of the FB groups, I was told to politely ask him to refrain from doing something in that group, so he blocked me. I haven’t seen anything from him in years.

The point Chris made reminds me that over the years we have seen quite a few repair / makers come and go. A few were quite good. On the other hand, I'm reminded of one that was well established long before I began collecting, contributed significantly to my (and others) switchblade education, and is still going strong. He also happens to be a member and moderator here.

Apparently, he has me blocked also.
I was thinking I would be able to advise him.

Don't know.
If he's that sensitive, he won't do well.

I was told by the group “owner” to ask him to not post so many sales posts in the non-sales group. So, I told him he could continue to sell knives in the group, just not to use dollar signs ($) and terms like “For Sale” as to not attract the attention of the FB monitors. Very politely, may I add. That was all it took. He blocked me and continued to do it without me being able to see. Ironically, he continued a great friendship with the “owner” of the group that told me to ask him to stop in the first place! I had nothing against the young man, and still don’t (of course). He’s very talented. Just don’t tell him what to do or how to do it. But, such is the life of an administrator or moderator that has to enforce the rules. Sometimes, ya just don’t make friends that way.
