latama kris blade

Post by porkchop »

I have an 11 inch Lama with a kris blade. I have read that latama put a patent on the reverse side of the tang of kris blades. Mine does not have anything on the reverse side. Does this mean it is not an authentic latama or possibly it was made before this change went into effect. Any help is appreciated.

It is indeed a Latama. Perhaps it was an early one- before the patent was issued. Less likely is that it just didn't get stamped..
