Switchblade Identification help INOX

I am looking for assistance in identifying the knife with the below tang stamp. Really interested in Age and maker if possible. All google searches done with name stamped and derivatives come up empty. Knife is 7", handles is black but not entirely sure of what.

Any assistance would be helpful. I am not a knife guy and why I came here.

Hello and welcome LaneLander

Could do with a picture of the whole knife ,but it is a Venezia or gondola stamped knife .
Some were tourist pieces and others older were of higher quality .The inox just means rustfree or stainless.
Hope you can show the whole knife ,I have one with a Gondola but without the Venice scene in the background .

Others will let you know more but the pictures will help a lot .

Type in "Gondola "or "Venezia "in the search that is offered at the top ,there will be some examples .These knives can be very sought after .

Here is another type of a venezia stamped switchblade LaneLander
This one is a bobc( button open button close system ) that has the venezia mark with the Gondola .
I have one similar (top pic )but without the gondola stamp

One of the venezias I have personally never seen with that ringpull release .
Scales are black horn ,bolsters nickle silver bayonet blade ,knife looks to be from the 1950s .
Lovely to have the patent number and I really like your Gondola stamp .
This will be a very rare knife imho ,but wait for others that know atlot more than me have a look .

I cant help with a specific maker as they are usually stamped ,Latama Edwin Jay etc but I think this knife was made in" Maniago "Italy by the cottage industry that thrived there .
However that Patent number could help pin it down a bit more to someone who has a better knowledge on these Venezia knives .

Thank so much for the information. Very interested to see what everyone else comes up with. I do have a question on cleaning. (Not Polishing) The lock mechanism seems sticky. What can I use to clean it? I think that will help for proper function and I really really to not want to refurbish it at all if it will affect the value.

The patent number is for a Latama kris blade. I believe the makers used it to keep others from making similar knives-even if it only covered the blade style. I'm sure patents were new to the Maniago makers in the 1950s and were poorly understood.
You can squirt a little WD 40 in the safety slot. If the safety will not move, don't force it.

I have 2 Latama kriss blades that have the 35958 rear tang stamp, I did not know that it was on other blades, we learn something new every day.

Forgot pictures. I too have a kriss blade with PATENT 35958 on the back tang. I am guessing it is Latama as well. The front appears to have something that is obliterated or maybe just some scuffing.

I didn't say the patent number means it's a Latama.
I have seen knives that were not Latamas so marked.

Very nice knife LaneLander

The blade could do with a bit of shaping and touching up carefully ,and the horn scales would polish up very well ,but that is owners choice . .Some people leave them be .My picklock example needed some blade work ,and the top scale had been pryed off when I got it ,these knives are 70 years old now ,and some were just sharpened and used by their owners .

Love that short throw safety on it ,and with that Venezia and Patent stamp as I said it is a very coveted knife .

Here is one I saw years ago without the Venezia stamp, but it shows the Patent number on the same style of knife .

Are there blueprints of this knife? I am not certain if the lock id functioning correctly. it was not stiff but when pulled back would open without hitting the release button.
