Reposting more detailed picks of one of the Hibbens and the case. Doesn’t seem to provide any more info to me. I can find lots of Hibben knives online. Seems to be a big fantasy knife maker, but cannot find a single switchblade anywhere. Not sure if that means they’re rare, worthless, or both.

That’s all I’ve got for tonight. I took some detailed pics of the Daltons that I will probably post on the Dalton thread provided just in case anyone is interested in seeing more of those.

I have another 5 non autos and 2 fixed blade knives. What would be the proper thread to post those under?

And once again, thank you so much. I’m really enjoying this.

Apologies about the Protech, apparently they make two sizes of the "Jazz".

I couldn't find any definitive sold listings for blue 909 Jazz Godfather's, but two turquoise ones sold recently for $265 and $395. Condition was probably what made the difference. The blue ones originally sold new for around $265. Depending on the condition of yours, I'd ask for the higher price.

The HALO 3 is the same price with the neck sheath. As for the numbers on the blade "07/2000" is the date of manufacture (July of 2000), the other number 1509 is the serial number.

With the Boker you might get a little more with the box, but I wouldn't expect much more.

I referenced the custom Corby Cobra in an earlier post (G10 handle with rubber? inlays). I estimated between $300 and $400, likely closer to $400 in my opinion. I don't have any idea about the Corby tanto, it may be one of a kind. Are those scratches on the blade or tape residue, etc?

The Buck 112 is a conversion. The date code on the tang ] is the year 2000. Buck didn't start making their 112 auto until 2018, and they use a totally different button/release mechanism. One tell-tale sign of a conversion is the nail nick in the blade. Buck factory autos don't have nail nicks, because they started out as autos, as opposed to a manual being converted into an auto.

I can't find another all- black Paragon Mini Cobra with ostrich inlays. But one with natural ostrich skin inlays and a plain blade sold for $280 in 2018. Not being able to find another all-black one would lead me to believe that they are rare and don't come up for sale very often. There were only 100 made of the one I mentioned with natural ostrich inlays, just like your version, so I would charge more than $280.

As for the Hibbens, they are custom collaborations between Hibben and Paragon, each is 1 of 10. One with mother of pearl inlays sold in 2021 for $695. I can't find another with abalone inlays, but abalone tends to be an expensive handle material, so I imagine it would be close to the mother of pearl. Two with stingray skin inlays sold in 2021 for $695 and $850.

The one you said you can't open looks like a Hubertus lever lock switchblade based on the blade marking. But there are fake Hubertus knives out there. When you flip that brass tab down and press it the knife should fire, if it's working properly. It would need to be authenticated before any kind of valuation could be made. More Pictures with the blade open. If it won't fire, try pressing the blade into the handle, then press and hold the lever tab down, then release the blade.

I'll continue to research the others you've posted.

The knife pictured below (yours) is the same design as a Paragon X-O Lite, but it doesn't have any blade markings, so I don't know if it's genuine. I can't find any reference to "sterile" versions.

Welcome Sir . Nice group of knives ! This is a great bank of knowledge, I'm sure you will get honest answers here. I would be interested in the Buck 112 conversion if you decide to part with it.
Thanks, Mike

What is the overall length of the Dalton Seal? I think it might be a Baby Seal. The Baby Seal has an overall length of 7.5", and typically has 5 handle grooves on each side, whereas the larger Dalton Navy Seal typically has 6 grooves. There are other makers of the same style of knife that have different numbers of grooves.

The most recent sold listing I can find for a Baby Seal with your blade type, finish, and logo on the blade is from 2017 and it sold for $195.

From what I read Mr. Dalton died last year, so his knives may have gone up in value. It's not unusual for that to happen with well-known knifemakers.

And I have a correction to make- The price listing for the Dalton Militia of $1350. is an asking price, not a "sold" price. A Militia similar to yours (black handle, plain edge, with safety), though not a Proto model, sold in 2022 for $795. It is entirely possible that the Proto model might sell for more. Sorry for the error.

Killgar you’ve been a huge help. Thank you so much. I think you’re right about the Baby Seal based on my novice research. The total length is 7.5” and the blade 3.5”.

The only other info I have on the Paragon that may be a XO Lite is that my dad ordered a bunch of non autos in the same style and had his business logos put on the blades. I am pretty sure he ordered them directly from Paragon and I believe he ordered the switchblade style to consider doing at as an auto, but decided it would be too expensive. Maybe there’s no Paragon markings because it was some type of sample? Or maybe it was counterfeit.

I’ll probably reach out to AC as you mentioned, but will keep everyone updated as I move through the process and learn anything new.

Sprink, I’ll message you about the Buck when I’m ready to sell. This board has been so helpful I would be happy to sell to group members.

I have the very same Buck, Only it's the 110 conversion. Definitely Not factory made. I'd love to add the 112 as my 110 is IDENTICAL!
