I ordered the Kershaw Launch 17 this morning.
I asked GP Knives to delay shipping by Fed Ex until Thursday, February 17th so that it will arrive on Saturday morning. (This should frustrate any "porch pirates" that may prey on the neighborhood).
I'll let everyone know if, and how, the Launch 17 "passes muster" upon its arrival.

I received an email update from FedEx. My Launch 17 will be delivered on February 17th (It will likely be delivered in the morning, as is their custom in my neighborhood).

I had GP Knives delay delivery until Saturday. This was done to avoid "Porch Piracy".
I'll let you know how it is on Monday, February 19th.

Sorry, fishtail. I got confused on the date. I thought today was the 17th.

I have the Launch 12 in my EDC rotation. It's a great little knife that is perfect for anything I need a knife for.

I bought a Launch 8 a few years ago because I like the look. It is a nice, well made knife with cpm154 steel. Kershaw, in my opinion, does a good job of providing USA made automatic knives at a low price point. There are a few concessions for the lower price such as cheap plastic buttons, but they function well.

It is frustrating waiting for a package. And when tracking shows "out for delivery" and it doesn't show your mind starts imagining if the neighbor is going to be honest enough to return it, or the person from the next street over with the same house number but a block to the south (My USPS driver I swear is dyslexic) got your stuff...I would say once a month I hand deliver wrong mail delivered to my box.
Last week I was waiting for car parts I needed. Between 11am and 6pm six UPS trucks flew by. I live in the country and barely see a couple a week go by. I'm thinking "what the hell". I resisted the urge to chase down the last truck and finally the sixth one pulled in the drive well after dark.

I know that feeling, Terry. The second trade I did with frosolone I had him send my knife to my workplace. It came through Cincinnati to Lexington, KY. Well, for some reason, Lexington sent it BACK to Cincinnati! So Cincinnati had to send it to Lexington again and then it came on to the PO local to my workplace. It arrived a day behind schedule on Friday, but I didn't see it until the following Monday because I'm off on Friday. Frosolone's package from me, meanwhile, showed up a day ahead of schedule.

Damned FedEx delayed delivery. (The knife should have been here Saturday). It will arrive this morning when I'm not there. I just pray that it isn't stolen.
