Seems like those guys could build a knife that doesn't have the kick spring sticking out.

Maybe I'm just picky but I don't like the look on a new knife.

Hi Terry,
You’re not picky. I don’t like the kick spring sticking out.

I always thought the kickspring poking out was traditional in picklocks.
All of my Transitionals have that. . . I never thought it was a distraction.

The first photo of a dark horn. . .I really thought it was a plastic scale. . .
until I saw the 2nd photo of the blonde horn scales.

They both look enticing. . . . so much that I want one.

even though I must have too many 13 inch stilettos.....I ache for another "new" one.

Damn Eye Candy. . .

These are hand picked and then stamped with this stamp. Pretty much the best of the new offerings....I don't mind the spring sticking out a bit....These have been on FB for a few months now. It seems they are the best ones made of the current makers and then the stamp is added to show they are the hand picked best.....

Yeah, I know it is common. I have had older and new with the springs peeking. I have even bent up a few myself to make them open better.
I'm just a grumpy sob and that was the first thing that caught my eye for some reason.

They do look very well done.

Think I read somewhere that they bent them on the larger knives to make them open better so they would lock up.

Are these knives nickel silver, fully lined D stamped and 2-piece slip in spring? I'm not knocking the knives, but seems the involvement is Lucio Di Bon picks out the horn, Francesco Mariani finances the builds and one of the Beltrame's builds them the same as they always have. I think the most "special" part, is Lucio picks out the prettiest horn.

These don’t look like anything special to me except for the scale material from Lucio.
Swivel bolster release
Looks like stainless liners and bolsters
The button position and safety say modern not D stamped
Without a detailed description from the seller outlining the finer points of the knife I tend to think they are a standard made knife. I would hope that the blade sits deep and centered in the channel and has a solid lock up with no blade movement.
Sardinian Knives please tell us more about these knives.
