Cases

Post by J-man »

Hey again, my collection is starting to get a little big for just a single drawer, if anyone knows or makes small knife cases give me an e-mail.

Some good links there guys, thanks. I too have reached the point where the dresser drawer is getting full...plus, it would be nice to display some of the prettier knives. Which depth in these cases is adequate? I'd tend to think the 7/8" cases would hold the knives okay, but which do y'all actually use? Do you let the pressure of the closed lid hold the knives in place, or do you somehow attach them to the backing? Any additional info would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Blade Runner, I have a couple of 2" cases, they handle any knife upto 3/4" thick and use the pressure from the lid to hold the knives in place. I have them mounted on a wall in the den and have never moved. I also have a 3" for larger knives, i.e Bowies and a few Randall's.
You can always add some foam under the velvet lining to prevent the knifes from moving.
My cases are all 18x24x2or3, just like the ones from the site.

Thanks Razor_54. I think it's time to add a little decor to the living room.
