Like swingers? Like levers? How about both in one?

Post by Twobit »

Picked this up about a month ago and can't complain for what I got with the price tag even though I found it cheaper elsewhere it could be I got lucky and got a good one IDK. Snaps with authority. Locks up tight with zero play in the blade. The guard has minimal movement. It's got heft, seems pretty well put together other than I had to tighten the lower bolster pin a little. Scales are synthetic but present a wood - like "grain". No fraudulent AKC stamp. The blade is 440C stainless and took a wicked edge on my diamond stone. Length is 7-3/4" overall. Just thought I'd let you all know they're out there.

Ian it's definitely Chinese made. I got it from BudK for $39.99. I've seen it on another retail site for $22.99 and they're calling it a Milano stiletto. BudK has a satisfaction guarantee and maybe they get the better batches than others IDK. I'm pretty happy with everything I've bought from them and some stuff in their catalog I can tell is junk/ fantasy/ display fodder and some is known brands/makers like Cold Steel, SOG, Hibben, etc. I've also seen this one with a fake AKC stamp. This one has a BudK model number stamp. It's my bridge between the swing guard and the shot puller lever lock. I thought it would scratch the itch but should have known better. No regrets though.

Nice looking knife no matter where it was made. Won't be long the only thing made in America will be babies.

Greetings, Mr. Sammy the blade-

Don't count out the American skill for production-( albeit champions of re-production)..There are many semi-einsteins out there who are hoping to help the US of A with a future of hope, like being energy self sufficient- harnessing the earthly powers of wind, solar, and cattle methane to provide the wattage needed for wi-fi and electronic subpoenas..
Our own ol' pal, Mr. Doofus Emeritus is leading the local Mount Zoomie energy commission cadre with his own innate skill of producing gasses, his accolades of flatulence expertise are now available at a small fee, in a stylish "Bag O' Farts" via his website. Note: you have to endure the-' Prove you're not a robot' clicking challenges, but once yer in, you can order up all the Gross National Products you covet...
Allegedly, some of the proceeds are used to self promote the Bonzo rectal kazoo marching parade, with the holidays ahead, his T-shirts are a sure gifts of heated discussion, ho, ho ho !

AS ever,
Your ol' pal,

And are these your knives, Bill? I like the leaf pattern guard on that lower one. They're all drool -worthy.

Tom I'm pretty sure this is the site I was remembering when I mentioned seeing them elsewhere. The price is off by a few cents but that's most likely my faulty memory lol.

Very nice looking clone of the ones in Bill's photo for $101. I might get one of these after I unload my Rizzuto's.

Don't be fooled by the file work. Those knives are not worth $101. They aren't worth $50, and can be found much cheaper.
