Rizzy and medici values
Ok I think I got my photo to upload. So here are two blades stamped "Rizzuto Estiletto Milano" (the black and the faux ivory swinger). The medici is a higher quality make I'm pretty sure from Maniago. It's safety doesn't work and neither does the 11" swinger. The black shows plenty of wear, atrocious scale fitment, and the blade tip would most likely peek if not for the curl of the lower bolster. It's safety does work correctly. All three snap open consistently. Anyone got a suggestion as to their values, as a group or individually?. Thanks to all of the guys who offered help with my uploading issues. I ended up cropping it a little.

Re: Rizzy and medici values
Incidentally, the scales on the medici are cocobolo aka snakewood and I believe the "brand" is Jndiana.

Thank you, John! I have a couple of other "Italians" not pictured.

Nice knives Twobit
Love the rizzy ,nice size ,love the cream scales ,and apart from the safety looks in good order .Values vary on these so lets see what others say ,as I have been away awhile ,
The jndianas are quite sought after aswell ,they are nice little swingers ,again I dont know how the broken safety affects price .
Not familiar with the third but looks rizzyesque ,probably made in taiwan ,Japan
Nice little group ,lets see what the others say on value when they see your post .

Re: Rizzy and medici values
gravknife, the black one has "Rizzuto Estiletto Milano" stamped on the blade, along the back edge instead of the tang, like the ivory swinger has. I've only seen one other like it before, in someone's collection I was talking trade with.
Re: Rizzy and medici values
The lighting in the pic makes the scales look more yellow than they really are. Am I correct that the guard is called a "mustache" style?
Re: Rizzy and medici values
Think its known as a 'Batwing 'guard Twobit .
I think the rizzy with the stamping position you described is more sought after .,there should be many topics on them here if you use the search ,they are very popular knives due to movie appearances .
I have no rizzys ,but would love that one as an example

Re: Rizzy and medici values
I’d say the faux ivory Rizzy would be worth about $150 in that condition. Would be slightly more if the safety was functional.
The black Bird’s Head Rizzy is probably worth $200 or more.
The Medici is likely worth $175 or something like that in that condition. Would be much more if it had a working safety.

WOW! Thanks, Mario! I picked the ivory up at a pawn shop , traded a dagger blade swivel-bolster stiletto for the Bird Head. Bought the medici from a retailer online about 20 years ago. I'll upload some detail pics shortly.

Re: Rizzy and medici values
Hello Twobit. The black rizzy is a finger grove and sometimes called a knuckle rizzy. They are sought after. I've seen very minty ones go for $350. Hard to know condition from your pic. I agree with Mario and $200 is probably a minimum.
Re: Rizzy and medici values
Wow, again! I'm looking to sell or trade on a AKC shot puller if anyone is interested!

Re: Rizzy and medici values
The blade seems to be the most worn - looking part. The scales and bolsters aren't scratched up. The pins, button, and safety slide have a patina for sure. It's been snapped a lot. Still working great.
