Triangolo MC / CR Oddities
Here are a couple fun TRIANGOLO stamped knives for your Friday enjoyment. The two 12cm blue shell wraps are MC and CR stamped and the 28cm is misspelled "TRIAGOLO" which is pretty cool. I know there are some TRIANGOLO collectors in here; has anyone else seen one misstamped like the one on the right??

not a stamp that you see very often, thanks for the show.

Fabulous group! The horn on the 28 cm is incredible bites and all. I like your little ones the twins are awesome as is the 14 cm (?)

Yessir, the middle pearl-ish shell wrap is a 14cm, and I agree about the bug bites on the 28cm; I love it as-is and wouldn't alter these kinds of knives for anything. Thank you guys for the kind words

The Fantastic Four HSS.
Rare stamp and I too love the original lived in look of the large Trianglo .The horn is what we all love and the bugbites part of its life .
Really like those shellwraps aswell, the wrap is a great colour on the twins and love the pearl larger example ,all with nice patination .
Thanks for the great pics ,and keep them coming .
You have showed us some truly rare knives .

Re: Triangolo MC / CR Oddities
The misspelling could be a regional dialect. I speak the Sicilian dialect and many words are only spoken in Sicily or spelled slightly different from the National Dialect which is the dialect of Florence.

I do remember seeing one in another collection 10-15 years ago. I don't really think the misspelled stamp would change the value very much one way or the other. If I had the opportunity to buy it, I would have. I'm fairly positive that at least one of the blue 12cm. She'll wraps was mine. I have and/or have owned 4-5 of the 12cm's.Highspeedsteel wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 8:43 pmThank you guys !
Jackalope I know you have seen a few TRIANGOLOS, is the misspelled TRIAGOLO something you've seen before or fairly unique do you think?
Here are a couple photos of most of mine.
