Colt Automatic
Is nothing sacred anymore? A knife from China with the Colt logo, for $39.00. Of course, I had to buy one just to see what kind of cheese they deliver, I must say it's not a bad looking knife.

Re: Colt Automatic
When they first came out 5-6 years ago they were marked Walther. Since then they have showed up with a few different markings. A couple old threads...

Cool knife boots
They are pretty well made and good looking knives ,especially for the money ,
I bought a walther marked version many years back and then had 2 seized by " caring "custom officers unfortunately .
Just remember keep it oiled if not using it for a while as mine kept sticking as I had just left it in the box.

Hi Boots,
Cool looking knife. If I needed another knife, I’d pick one up today.

Re: Colt Automatic
I've considered one of those and it looks like it would be a good utility EDC knife you would not worry about. I like that it has a safety which unfortunately, many American autos don't.
Re: Colt Automatic
When the Walther's first showed up, we did think they were from Germany, and I was one of the few that grabbed them through Terry's connection. I was happy to get it, and it's still in great condition. They go for half of what we originally paid back then, so you really can't go wrong.

Re: Colt Automatic
I still feel bad about that.
Re: Colt Automatic
Not at all, Terry! We can understand them using the various names like Colt, AKC and Bill's name, they do it all the time, but who would have thought the Chinese would counterfeit "Walther's"? I still say it's the originals

Re: Colt Automatic
I bought a Walther. They are OK knives. I still want a Bill DeShivs model, but I won't order one from China.

Re: Colt Automatic
These are good "users" and serve a purpose. I won't buy one that has counterfeit branding.

Re: Colt Automatic
I have one I bought at a gun show marked Delta Force. They're not horrible.
Re: Colt Automatic
I looked high and low for one but at the moment I can't afford $2000.00.
