Boker Lundquist Alluvial Black Aluminum Automatic Knife

Post by Fishtail Picklock »

This knife has a sleek 3.125" blade of D2 steel. I bought it on Grindworx for $54.99. This knife is a real "workhorse". At 3.11 ounces, it is relatively light and is a wonderful testament to both Boker's durability and ingenuity.
I believe that this is the "golden age" of automatic knives real "working" pocket knives that handily slip into a pocket and can be called upon at a moment's notice to perform everyday cutting tasks or even fight your way to a gun.

I believe that I'm going to like this "bit of kit". 8)

Nice looking knife and I thought pretty hard about buying one but that's all that I need, another knife. My edc is a Boker Kion but that's subject to change at anytime, made in Taiwan and it's more politically correct than buying Chinese.

You keep telling yourself that. (Yeah, that'll work).

I'm carrying my Piranha "Fingerling" (Made right here in the "good ol'US of A") and enjoy it very much. I rotate between that and my Piranha "Virus" I am still looking for that "sweet spot" between my Case Yellow Delrin-scaled Peanut and an automatic Bowie knife.

This may be the answer to my quest... (but I sincerely doubt it). 8)

I have the Boker Bowie and it's a whole lot of knife. Same quality as the rest of the Bokers but it is a whopper! Good snap for a blade that size but a little to big for pocket carry in my opinion.

It arrived today and I couldn't be more pleased. This is a wonderful addition to my carry rotation. Light, quick and sharp. a great drop point that will hold an edge. (D2 seel isn't half bad).

Two thumbs up, Boker... TWO THUMBS WAY UP! 8) :D
