Latama Shell Wrap?
Here’s a weird one I’ve had a couple years but never thought it was anything too special until recently… despite being pretty hammered it actually functions well and doesn’t peek (missing the back wrap). Thank you for looking. Anyone else ever seen one?

That must have been a very small run! I have never seen one marked as a Latama.
I can repair it should you want to do so.
Get some oil on the steel parts.

I just might take you up on that down the road but I do kind of like this one staying the way it was when it came to me... there aren't too many other examples I'm aware of, so keeping this one as close to original might be best at this point. I will put some oil on it here in a bit, thank you for the suggestion there as well

I posted it up on FB and discovered a buddy also has one but that's the only other I've seen or am aware of...

A first for me aswell Highspeedsteel
Its a true beauty like many of the knives you have shared with us .
I believe this would come up like new with restoration blade looks good and full ,nice bolsters ,and especially with the mechanics on it working so well.
I dont know how the shell wrap can be reproduced but I am sure Bill will ,as he's probably done a few before .
Restored or not this is an exceptionally rare Latama ,thanks for showing us .
