I am curious. Serrations on a stiletto makes sense to me.

Pretty sure it’s Italian.
Blade is marked 440 B.
I vaguely remember a serrated version of the 11 inch swing guard being offered, years ago.
Nice, always wanted one.

I've since found out it's an 11inch

11" open Made in Italy 2003-2004. There were a very few made with the serrations or at least sold with them as a after marked.

Would this piece be the in the rare category? Or just not many made, if that makes sense.

My bet would be it's a Frank Beltrame, based on the guards, bolsters, and pins.

But I wouldn't bet more than I could afford to loose  .

I just saw a flat ground 11" swing guard on Arizona Customs with the same tang stamp (no serrations though). It's listed as a Frank Beltrame, but I take everything I read on A/C with a big grain of salt.

It's on page 23 of the Frank Beltrame listings, SKU# 156889

I'm sticking with my bet. And I'm more confident with Tom's opinion added. :D .

Thanks ! Frank made a run of these in 2003-04 and I do remember seeing a few with the serrations and I wasn't sure if that was a after market add on.
