Latama's New Offerings

Post by boots »

Latama has 3 new custom swing guards up for grabs, but at $780.00 I think I'll pass.

Really nice but $780 will sure buy a lot of beer.

To tell the truth, the last two customs I bought didn't stack up to their regular offerings. the liners were a little loose and the hole around the release button was a little large for the button. But if I had the cash that white pinecone resin sure looks nice.

They’re beautiful knives. At this time I can’t afford to spend that kind of money on knives. But I’d like to add the snake wood swinger in my collection.

It appears that Walt's knives have approached, and in some cases exceeded the prices of the superb custom Sardinian switchblades.

I have many modern standard production Italian stilettos but I have no interest in the overpriced custom knives. I could buy a decent 1950s picklock for the same price or less. To each their own, but the modern "Latamas" made by Frank Beltrame are of no interest to me.

Walt's custom knives are hand built by Tank Fisher from mostly factory parts, and they should be great knives.
I have built a few for him over the years, but no longer have the time to do so.

Bread is pretty cheap compared to what one of those swing guards are. Maybe we can have a collection taken up and get you a jar of peanut butter. Happy Thanksgiving.
