AKC Gravity Knife

Does anyone have one of these? I haven’t seen one for sale anywhere. I’m guessing they were a limited run. I like how it in all caps says “GRAVITY” on the blade printed in white on black. Like yeah, I think I get the gravity of the situation. LOL! Was wondering how much these go for when they pop up.

Hi Mario,
I took a look at Angelo’s website and he doesn’t have that knife listed. I’m guessing it’s a fake ACK. Someone here may know more than I and you can always email AKC for verification.

The knives are legitimate. I have one. They are a remake of the old Robert Klaas gravity knife-but better made.
I believe they were a fairly limited run.

Thank you Bill for confirming that the knife is a genuine AKC knife.

YouTube video was published 8 years ago, I assume they are all sold and out of production:(

As Bill stated they are real and were sold by a few on line dealers when they came out.

Locating the blade release like is a mistake. When you grip the knife hard in a situation you are likely to release the blade back into the handle. Too big and ugly!

I have one also. Mine is a satin blade, not black. The button/lever is slightly awkward to reach. It is sticky on retraction and I usually have to shake or wiggle the blade when I retract the blade. It snaps out just fine. The wood scales can be unscrewed, but the frame is riveted m, so I haven’t been able to get at the lock to see what the issue is.
