Frank B swingaurd

Post by leighdog »

I was looking at a site called allaboutpocketknives.com and noticed they had a Frank B 9 inch swingaurd. Is Frank B making nine inch swingaurds? The reason i ask is the blade had an oval shape lock like the eleven inch ones. There is only one pin on bottom bolster. HELP

That is a swivel bolster release and nit a swing guard. It is a REAL Frank B...He started the oval hole about two years ago to help stop blade peek from occurring. The single pin only is for swing guards..

Perry Knife Works has a few models of Frank Beltrame 11" swing guards. PVKvegas has what is likely the lowest price for a new Latama 11" swing guard ($500 with dark horn handles).

I'm not recommending for or against them, just mentioning what's currently available in terms of new, genuine Italian swing guards.
