11 inch manual swinguard

I recently acquired an 11 inch manual swinguard with dark horn handles and a flat grind blade with a swedge this is the first manual opening swinguard that I've seen are they common

The 9" ones aren't too rare but the 11" ones are very rare. I think I've seen about 10 total ever.

Hi Tom,
I noticed that your 11” wood and brass has the same dented top and bottom bolsters as mine. I wonder what happened. By the way your collection looks awesome.

John I had three of them in wood and they all had the same dent. The one in the picture that I sold ( with the 9") has it too but it doesn't show in the picture. None of the others do. Strange but a factory thing for sure....Thanks
