told myself. . .stop buying every knife that I lust after.

And you gotta post this. . . .

I see Grindworx has these now, but they are terribly expensive. Could they be the real thing? Grindworx says they are from Italy, but they are identical to the knives above.

They're from China and are the same ones pictured. Grindwork/BladeHQ are either clueless as to where they source goods or they are flat out lying and ripping people off. They have quite a few knives they claim are Italian which they are not.

So I can buy a fake knife from dhgate for 30$ or i can buy the same fake knife from grindworxs for 109$.
Buying from china, i know everything is fake, but some of it is pretty good. But from a company like grindworx to pass it off as italian and charge 3x the price is obscene. i think anyway.

Sorry Jerry :D .

I know how you feel. I enjoy looking at switchblades, but the downside is having to resist temptation.

And I know what people would say- "Why resist?". Well, I've already got too many knives I'll never need, or carry. I can't keep buying more. It goes against my frugal nature.

I noticed that these are no longer available on Etsy. The vendor has completely disappeared.

I bought mine for $25 ($27 with tax), but there's no way I'd pay $100 or more for a Chinese switchblade.

Ok, got a black one on the way.
Vendor sent a pic of the knife. Doesn't look too wonky.

PM me. I'd rather not advertise for any vendors here.

Don't think that would cause problems here. I've seen them advertised on wish.

I just ordered this from Grindworx. https://www.grindworx.com/item--AKC-11- ... tic--39470
and paid $109 plus tax. Is this the same knife?
