Good finds, indeed. I like the Speed Hunters and just haven't got around to it. I think it was last week that 3K had the model in horn for 15% off. I will find my mojo and buy one soon too. Nonetheless, congrats on the acquisitions!

...you can never have too many!! :)

Peace.

Here is a photo of the Speed Hunter (photo credit: akc.it/speed-hunter.html)

Does "MCM maniago side opener" refer to the MKM (Maniago Knife Makers) consortium?
Their website (www.mkm.it/) does not list a product called "typhoon".

I agree with John. The earlier models often suffered from blade peek, I hope yours doesn't, button_man.

Oh, I don't own one of these..... I just tracked down the photo and posted it here so we could all see it.

Now -- can anyone narrow down the info on this "Typhoon" thing? I'm not even sure if Bobby B
meant that it's an auto, because the only "Typhoon" that I can find online is "assisted open" --

My speed hunter is a first run no blade peek and fires hard and locks up tight no blade play the MCM knife is Italian made just Google MCM maniago they make a scale release auto also as far as the name typhoon I'm mistaken on that
