Godfather as a EDC

Post by Buckshot »

every time I go to the rack for my days carry, I look at my Godfather
then reconsider. Does anybody actually carry one on a daily basis?
The knife is a magnificent piece of weaponry, but it looks so downright
evil in the hand. It looks like it's made for one thing only, piercing
vital organs. What do you Godfather owners think?

I'm always worried about busting the tip off. I believe that happened to Falcon.

I got a couple Godfathers and I find that they are a bit too big for EDC (if you pull them out to use you can't help but appreas as though you're up to no good)- I'd recommend the Godson in it's place (and it's cheaper too!).

Oh Godfather!!

My first (real) Godfather is in the mail as we speak, but I have two GF Clones and a real Godson in all black. I carry them as EDCs alot. If you bust the tip off, it should be in the heart of a would-be rapist or murderer as a prophylactic measure.

The Godson would make a better edc, but these knives are too nice for any kind of daily use.

Just one of many chores any EDC should be ready for.

I carry (not daily, but occaisionally) a green GF w/ the black blade.
Its really a great carry knife. Its a good enough size to get some bigger jobs done, but mainly I find myself carrying it when going out on a fri or sat night.
Its a scary enough piece for self defense, and the tip, while thin, make like a good ice pick substitute.
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

I used to use my all-black Godfather as my EDC until I got a nice dark horn Leverletto. I personally dont think that the GF is too large to carry. I did, however, take off the clip so that it would go all the way to the bottom of my pocket. Not too thick, nice and flat. Great knife, great look, great to use.
