It might look Chinese, but it has a single spring. I've never seen a knock-off with a one piece kick spring.
Also the fit and finish is consistent with a lower end Italian knife.
The clone is on top, with the wire spring and extra rivet.

I don't buy new knives very often, therefore I'm not current on them.
However, the Italian folding guard knives that I'm familiar with use brass liners. Perhaps they have changed.
