I think that drawing in the Hubertus catalog is just mean the show the backspring o/c mechanic while the blade and the handle was just the artist trying to make it look fancy.

How about a Latama-style button at the base of the top bolster. Make it a Fleur-de-lis so that the release button would match the knife's motif.

A knife like that with an S45V blade would be worth $750.00 to me. (Very light, or white horn scales would work just fine)!
