What would you consider to be the ultimate "Gentleman's Automatic Pocket Knife"?
Please provide your definition of the best automatic pocket knife to carry while out "on the town". Please bear in mind that you should,
1. Avoid alarming the resident "sheeple" while using the accouterment.
2. Employ this for daily "city' carry.
3. It should "disappear" on your person (like a Case Peanut or Toothpick) until it is called upon for general cutting demands.
Don't be afraid to suggest a "custom build" because we are all here to learn.
Thanks.

Microtech UTX-70. It is one of my EDC knives.

I agree with "sammy," Boker's Kalashnikov is one hell of a knife. BladeOpps has a great selection. I've played with changing springs, easy to turn one into a cannon.

William Henry made some really nice, and expensive, gentlemen's knives.

Since Bill mentioned Wm. Henry...
Top. Titanium frame, safety on spine. ZDP-189 laminate blade.
Middle. T12CF converted by Rainy Vallotton to D/A. Mike Norris "raindrop" damascus.
Bottom. B30, safety on rear. ZDP-189 Damascus laminate blade.
I carry the carbon fiber quite often... less than 2 oz.

Only three of the Carbon Fibers were done by Rainy. Lucky enough to still have two ... Tom

I see you have covered the "spirit" of the "Gentleman's Automatic". There's something to be said for a bit of class and refinement. I find it refreshing, impressive, and elegant. The overused "cool" doesn't even come close.
Thanks, Tom!
