At those rates it might make more sense to get an airbnb. I found one that was for an entire 2 bedroom apartment nearby in the buckhead area for like $85/night and me and 2 friends had reservations there for the 2020 blade show weekend, luckily AirBnB has a pretty generous cancellation policy... Spirit airlines however, not so much lol

You do not want to stay in Buckhead now. Thanks to our liberal Atlanta Mayor, the crime rate has drastically increased.

Here are the latest statistics.

Robberies citywide are up 2%, but in Buckhead are up 39% through last week.
Aggravated assaults are up 26% citywide, but up 52% in Buckhead
Larceny from automobiles are up 27% citywide but up 40% in Buckhead

It's pricey but really convenient to stay at the Renaissance. And you can stay in the pit and visit all night if you want.

I hardly think it's necessary/appropriate to drag politics into this, but in any case whenever people throw stuff like that around they ought to cite sources out of respect for whomever may call the place home...

Either way an extra $100+ saved per day could be another knife and, well, you know how this addiction works...

Thanks Allen - I have missed too many shows and plan to make 2022, will likely do my usual pay with points for a nearby Marriott or Hilton property.

Luke, keep acting childish. I had no idea you were so "fragile" and "weak"

I come here to learn about the great hobby of collecting knives and to interact with others who have similar interests. I cannot believe the moderators will allow the political and derogatory posts from the last couple of days, posts which have nothing to do with knife collecting and are clearly intended to be divisive.
