Time to pillage and raid.

Post by SwordOfDamocles »

I just got a package from Stu. It contained one Tomb Raider OTF. Now I can loot to my hearts content with no fear of reprisal from bands of angry natives or curses of the undead. It is a great knife for twenty bucks. Pretty sharp blade and a VERY intimidating click-click sound. Perfect for stabbing large exotic spiders or stealing booze from the bums who always hang out by my truck. Fast shipping. Pleased with result. Thanks Stu.

We here at the TalkBlade Forum take an oath to only use our springblades to fight the "Forces of Evil", not to relieve winos of their beverage of choice.

I have one of those tomb raider otf's and I think it's a P.O.S. I have a microtech scarab and although it's way, way more expensive than the tomb raider, it is also way, way, way better in every way.

Mr. Feyd Rautha- I am in no way saying that this knife is of high caliber. But I knew that to be the case when I bought it. I picked it up for fun. And it is FUN to play with. That is why I am completly satisfied. I will someday purchase a Microtech but for now am perfectly content to tinker with my POS. SOD.

I use my knives for more mundane tasks too. The other day I cut a loose thread on my shirt and the sleeve fell off. :?

Saga de' La Maison du Vero

The way things have been going at Chez Vero I wouldn't be too sure about there being a Microtech if they keep going the way they've been going.

Tone-Tone is either doing a major restructuring and heavy investment in CNC gear, and revamping the staff, or they're about to fall off the runway.

December: Fired two of their long-time guys, JJ and Charlie.
January: MT making gun parts for H&K G3's (I know...)
February 6: Customer Service stops giving out RMA's til further notice, and that still is in effect.
February 24: Tony fires sister Marianne.
February 27: All people in shipping fired.

So, how long should you wait for that UT6 or Scarab? Wish I knew. They are not doing anything to reassure their 'fans' or issue any positive PR spin. I guess bad press is better than no press?

Stone Knife,

How are you getting this inside info about MicroTech?
Have you got a listening device hidden in "tone-tone's" office? :?

Was your arm in it at the time and did it fall off too?

If my info were really good I could tell you the future, but, alas only the recent past in my crystal ball.

One usually good source suggests better days are ahead and this is Spring Cleaning, in spite of the ominous tangent.

I wondered the same thing about the arm, too, GreyBlade.

I've also been seeing the panic over at microholics, its too bad because I really like microtech knives.

Didn't mean to demean the tomb raider as harshly as it came out, I have one and use it at work to open boxes all the time, it is a nice knife for the price, I just was blown away by the scarab I guess.
