If I wanted to begin "making" automatic knives, does anyone know a good source for some pre-fab parts. I can handle most of the handle portion (no pun untended) but I do not have the skills or equipment to do springs and blades. I guess I could buy cheaper knives and take them apart and use those pieces, but that would not be idea. I am mainly looking at stiletto type knives (not interested in assembling a more "modern" kit knife).
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!

Re: Making a Knife
I would recommend trying some repairs first. Also, get a manual stiletto and try converting it. It will be really helpful if you have some experience with that stuff before you try making a knife.
