Yes sir! I bought mine directly from Alex, seemed like a great guy on the phone!
Concur, dont’t care much for Darriel’s view points/polotics....
Re: Cool little OTF
Why do you say that? A while ago you were bragging on Caston's knives? Just curious.Bill DeShivs wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 8:35 am ARS knives (a good guy!) is making those for Darriel Caston (not such a good guy.)

Apparently Caston isn't making his own knives anyway...

Re: Cool little OTF
I visited the ARS site a couple of days ago to investigate this mini...
No minis are listed on their site...... only one auto ($450) is listed;
and they have extensive compliance warnings, including the following:
"ANYONE attempting to falsify information or defraud our company in any way WILL be turned over
to the proper authorities. Any attempts at extortion or entrapment will also be met with swift legal action!"
They seem VERY serious about ONLY selling to police, military, etc.
--and not at all welcoming to collectors. Can't blame them for trying to avoid
trouble with the authorities; but since this shuts me out as a buyer, where am
I supposed to find their products (at a reasonable price)?

Concur with Bill, call them directly. That’s how I got mine and I work for the government overseas as a civilian.button_man wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 4:57 pm I visited the ARS site a couple of days ago to investigate this mini...

Yeah, people tell me that I'm missing a lot of opportunities by avoiding FB -- but I won't go near it. They unabashedly wring all the personal information they can from their users..... and selling it to marketing lists is probably the LEAST ominous result. Now it turns out that the Chinese are intent on compiling profiles on ALL citizens of the USA; and the big tech oligarchs just love doing business with China. Gee, what could possibly go wrong here? No social(ist) media for me, thanks.
Re: Cool little OTF
Like button_man, I never had a FB account. I do understand that there are apparently some meaningful switchblade discussions that go on there, but I guess I have to read about them second-hand.
