Indiana 9" Swinguards
Hi all,
I've been daydreaming about the future swinguards in my future and happened upon this site. Can anyone point me in a direction to find out more about this company and the quality of their work? I'm thinking about picking one up. Seems interesting enough. Thanks all!

PVK has been in business for quite awhile, probably 20 years or more. They just sell knives, not make them. Probably a good place to shop, contact them about the return policy before you buy an Itilam knife.

I’m not sure why PVK is calling that swinguard Indiana (Jndiana). I see they show the company logo, but it’s not on the knife. And, 1990’s? I don’t believe it myself.

Does this mean we're in uncharted waters as far as what these could be? Should I be a test mule and buy one for the sake of finding out?

PVK has been around for a long time. I'm not sure if it is still owned by Josh Burbank who also used to own the old Blade auction that most of us old timers used to get a bunch of our knives from.
I had a couple bad experiences years and years ago so never ordered from them again. Josh had kind of a bad rep back then. He wasn't always the most reliable. A quick google search of reviews for PVK or his name will tell you a lot.
My experiences were years ago. He may be great now. I remember something about his brother joining the business to help. Hard to believe they would still be in business if the didn't get better.

Those knives came out well after 2000 with the bayonet blade.
Angelo Campolin Sr. (Grandpa) gave me one at a show. I believe the Campolins had them made.

Josh is still involved in PVK.
PVK are still hit and miss.
Some will defend him and the business tooth and nail.
If you do buy from this company proceed with caution.

Josh used to defend Tizzybe, so what's that tell you about him.

TizzyBee.... that name brings back memories.
I bought an authentic German stiletto from Tizzybee back in the late 90's/early 2000's , only to find Solingen was spelled incorrectly on the blade stamp ( Soligen). Might be collectible now.... I'm being sarcastic.

When was your last order? I don't know the history people have had with PVK, but I can say my orders went through without a problem.
Re: Indiana 9" Swinguards
Tizzybea - oh what memorable stories, but yours JPD1998 is as classic as any - a "German stiletto" with Solingen spelled incorrectly

Over the years I always wondered if Tizzy and roadside were somewhat related or connected.

I think Tizzy used to bang him and I'm not positive but I think they are brother and sister. Not sure which is which either. Just my guess.
