Kissing Crane

Post by BarefootT »

Is there a page somewhere that helps identify the age of a Kissing Crane leverlock knife?

As I have told you elsewhere, your knife is 20-25 years old.

I have no idea who you are but that was not the question. What I would like to know is the source of such information as indicated in the first question.

It is, and I really like it, very snappy and locks up tight. Just looking for source material on their line in general.

These knives were available from the Austrian Knife Shop around 1999. Klaas then sold Italian leverlocks after that.
The source is experience.

Isn't Robert Klaas (Kissing Crane) mostly known for his German dress daggers and rifle bayonets during World War 2?

BarefootT - I have the same model as the one in your photo. As Bill mentioned, they were available from Knifeshop, mine was purchased around 2002.
