Forum Knife Kicks *ss

Post by hollowdweller »

Just got my forum knife. 2/50. Checking my credit card bill it ran about $80 more or less. Well worth it. Briar scales are nice. I was really impressed with the blade etch. Very deep etching. I especially liked the 2/50 part of the etch. The style of number looks really "old fashioned" style.

This is a really great deal and an awesome knife. The first leverlock forum knife I've ever heard of. 8)

Many thanks to Arthas and everybody else for making it happen.

$80? How did you do that? Hmmmm.
Well, Im glad you got yours, but this whole process has been perplexing.
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

I agree. When I ordered mine it said that I would get it in 4 days and it was going to cost me $106 bucks. When I finally got it I think it was around 86 and got here today.

Benny,

I went back and checked. 82.36. Maybe they gave me a discount because I paid for express and then had to wait? I know it was over a week it read awaiting authorization or some such thing.

So it looks like they recessed the top pins on the front scales, correct? Looks very nice.

That would be correct I think.
As usual I'm not sure, because I don't have it in my hand right now,
and I never remember details
Another reason I'm not sure is the 7" leverlock I got together with the forum knife.
It's been in the center of my attention since I got it.

It gets better each shot I see. That looks like a USER! That'll take off 'lektical insulation like nobody's bidniss! Whee!!!

So am I reading that the 7"LL that came in the same shipment has somehow eclipsed the forum Old Fashioned? If so, what is it about the 7" that has done this?

It's one of those inexplicable things...
It kicks harder. Feels more fun to play with.
AND maybe I subconsciously don't want to wear out the Forum Knife?

I don't know.
Get one, you'll understand.

The Massaro 7" is a very fine knife, and one of my favorites.
