Question about switchblades

Post by Jonathon Knight »

I just bought a switchblade and it doesn't work and I'm not familar with switches because this is my first. Can you tell me where I can find a diagram of a switch and it's parts to makes sure I have all the parts to restore it to working order please? Thanks

Hi Jonathon,

Could you give us a bit more detail than "doesn't work".
Does it not open all the way? Can you not push the button
in? Does it fire but not catch? Is it hard to close? Where
did you buy it (SKM)?

There are also many different styles styles of "switchblade".
some have coil fired blades, and some have leaf spring fired
blades, and some have torsion bar fired blades. Could
you describe your knife, or better yet put up a picture?
