You know there is a National day for naming National “whatever you want insert name here” days.

I have to agree .. these contrived holidays are pretty stupid. And yet I always bought my mom a Mothers day card while she was still with us...

Luckily for me there is a big once a year antique gun and knife show just down the road so I will be spending National Knife Day searching for the next piece in my collection.

It was a great show .. scored my first Vallotton.
From what I’ve learned so far it was made in the mid to late 90s and is scaled in mammoth ivory.
