Colt II (chinese manufacture) automatic Pocket Knife

I ordered one of these for the princely sum of $20.95. It arrived today, and for the price paid it is worth it. The knife can be carried a long time until it either breaks or just wears out.

Talk about a great "beater knife". For what you pay, the value is surprisingly good.

Buy one, you'll like it.

It's a knockoff but Colt didn't make them. I believe when they first came out the we're supposed to be Walther but were probably contracted out to be made. Probably in China would be my guess and doesn't make the Colt a bad knife. Seems to be the way of the world works anymore. If you buy a knife from DHGate odds are it's a copy unless maybe a Ganzo.

It is Chinese 440C Steel. The Colt etching on the blade doesn't mean that it was made for, nor was it endorsed by Colt industries. I just liked the knife and, for the price, I felt that it was worth it.

DH Gate is a broker for Chinese vendors. Some of their products are decent, others are trash. This knife is a good "clone" worth the money paid and is a flat grind blade that makes a great pocket knife. It isn't "collectible" but a "user". It isn't "special" but it is still a great knife.

I found it worth the money.

Those are neat knives. I have one. I like the little lever to press the lock back. It's interesting to see such innovation on a cheaper knife.

Hilarious, Bill! (Everyone likes a little @$$, but no one likes a smart @$$). But funny, damned funny! :P

Upon close inspection, the blade is centered and it locks firmly in place. The release button lock is positive. and the release button can't be unintentionally activated. The back lock release beats the Italian "bolster release" hands down, and the knife can be disassembled for cleaning.

Money well spent.
