A 9" 1950's EIG Kris Blade Picklock

Post by Fishtail Picklock »

An 9" EIG Picklock with a Kris blade is being auctioned on Sharper Deals. It is identical to the picklock seen on the "pilot" episode of Yancy Derringer "Return To New Orleans".

After closer inspection a replacement Kris blade seems in order. The knife does has a particular "cinematic" attraction.

Looks like it was sharpened until the waves were gone. My guess it would really bring the value down if that's what happened.

I agree. The value has been diminished. The blade has been sharpened to the point where the Kris blade has lost its "character". It is sad.
