Anyone familiar with this make?

Post by JayAK80 »

I recently acquired this swivel bolster switchblade and I was curious if anyone knew anything about it... age, origin, anything really... I’m not familiar with this tang stamp/mark at all. thanks!

I have no idea who or what Frabil was but I have seen that stamp a few times. A lot of people will refer to a knife like that as a transitional because of the lined NS bolsters but without the D-stamps it's not a legitimate transitional. It's basically a transitional transitional from when they first started using the modern buttons. It looks like it is in great shape.
