Solwa Germany Springer

Post by Tkreil66 »

Last Friday after putting my daughter to sleep I thought I would look at eBay before going to bed. Noticed right away that there was a new post under Shell Puller and I clicked on it right away. There it was this Solwa Springer with a buy now price of $145!!! With out reading the description I clicked and bought. It showed up today and I couldn’t be happier, functions great and looks great to me. The only issue is a small bend at the end of the blade. Never seen this tang stamp before???

Thanks Bill, so if I was thinking about trying to straighten the tip. How would I do it?

Heat is good for bending, but bad for edge holding.
I would use heat, but only heat to straw color and bend immediately. Just heat the tip. It may still break.

Very nice addition to your collection. The jigged bone looks awesome.
