Why does one have the thumbnail slot? They are both really nice. Can you actually pull a shotgun shell with them? What gauge?

The nail nick is in case the spring breaks. Of course you can pull shells with them.

Learn something new everyday. Thanks. Have to get me c12, c20 and c410. Do they make all the sizes? Even .410? Be a small blade.

Thanks Bill. Really I need one for a .410. I still have some old cardboard .410 shells and a single shot .410.

It would have to be custom made. I did a 28/.410 Leverletto shellpuller once!
