Asian knife?

Post by Scotchman »

I saw this on Ebay, but, I don't recall ever seeing a rizzuto style knife with a flat button. What is some members thoughts on this?

Hi Scott. I must have a dozen Japanese Rizzys in my collection, yet I was still fooled with the purchase of a Korean model (thinking it was an unstamped Japanese Rizzy). Not a flat button, but without the textured scales and "peek guard", I'm sure very much like yours and John's.

What are the differences between Korean and Japanese Rizzys?

I remember buying a mail order flat button kit version of the e-Bay knife around 1985 or so. As I recall, the spring came in a separate envelope with a note that said "Due to certain Federal laws, we are shipping this separately"! Spring just slid in, I was clicking in no time!
