Finding knives in England

Post by Lucentcrow »

Hello everyone

Being one of only a couple of Englishmen including gravknife Ian, there must be a lot of vintage Italian stilettos knocking about in England but it’s just finding them.

Every time I mention flick knives to anyone that might know where to find them they look at me like I’m strange and dangerous, I understand the reason why because knife crime is bad here but I don’t think these criminals want to collect beautifully made hand crafted knives I’m sure a rusty screwdriver or a kitchen knife is what they’ll go for.

Anyway if any of you American chaps know of any leads we could follow up on would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Joe
Also a little pic of my romo just like the one in the book

Yes, Ian has been a very valuable asset and friend to this forum and has told us the terrible state of collecting availability over there. We often forget how truly lucky we are here. Wish I could help and wish you good luck in your searches.

Joe and Chris your knives are wicked beautiful. I’d say they look better than the example in the book. I’m a big fan of ram scales stilettos. Way cool!!!

You’re very welcome!
Have you tried the “knifeshop” in Austria? They feature new and old knives.

Back in the day I remember Spotlightkid saying he take a vacation to France, something about going through the tunnel. He seemed to find a lot of knives there. Maybe you could try searching some of the old English members and get some ideas.
