Little bo/bc

I picked up this little bo/bc today. It’s about 7 inches overall. Seems to be in great shape and opens up fast. Is there a name for this style? Is it just Rizzuto’s little cousin ? I paid $30 bucks

Those are Italian knives made in Italy in the 1970s. I had one years ago that had been bought in Europe in 1978 and have since bought more of them.

Are they, what they commonly call, a "card knife"? It's in nice shape Mike!

The ones with cities on the handles are often called "Tourist Knives". I always called the solid colors ones that too, though that might not be correct.

And other than being cheaper boc/s, they aren't related to Rizzutos.

They were designed and Patented by Coltellerie Faralli in 1959.

I have been calling the a tourist knife too. Not sure where the term card knife came from?

I always assumed the term "card knife" came from them being sold on cards, similar to the edgemaster/shur-snap, etc. American knives.

These are neat little knives, being a sucker for sets i have acquired the black, blue,green, red

I don't have a red, but I have two blues(almost purple). I'd love to trade a blue for a red... I also have one that has a Venice shell wrap. Pretty cool little "tourist knives".

I remember when he made those...not sure they were ever sold on a card. I do have a small catalog from Farfalli and I have the 1959 patent as well.

I just dug out my 1959 Farfalli catalog and yep it’s idential to yours including the tang stamp.
